  Elizabeth Gaylord is an interpreter of the natural world through the use of vibrant colors and dream like images, often inspired by the mythology of native cultures.  She has been painting & drawing for over thirty years. 

 She attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.  While there she made the National Dean's List and  graduated in 1992 with a BA in Fine Arts.  While participating in SAIC's alumni charity event, Barewalls, Elizabeth  painted bears several years in a row which proved very popular with some creating bidding wars.

Elizabeth opened Harrison Works in September, 2002.  Harrison Works has held many juried/themed shows including both Gaylord's and other artists' works.  Many are music themed and often honors Harrison Works patron saint: George Harrison.  The Annual Art of & About Baseball show has proven to be very popular in it's nine year run.  But even during the themed shows, Gaylord's paintings of bears and other animals are always available.

Elizabeth  hosts Ukulele Club meetings every 2nd Wednesday of the month at Harrison Works.

Show openings often feature live music.
